NHL Releases Schedule for Pre-Season Games in Late September-Early October

On Wednesday, the NHL officially released its schedule for the upcoming pre-season in late September to early October. For those die-hard hockey fans out there, that means we have 46 days until the NHL officially returns.

Luckily, there should be no shortage of hockey over the next couple of months. The World Junior Summer Showcase recently wrapped up, and we have the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament taking place.

Upcoming is the long-awaited World Cup of Hockey in September with NHL Rookie Camps and Training Camp following to get us geared up for the 2016-17 season.

The NHL regular season will officially begin on Wednesday, October 12th 2016.
