Most players on the hockey rink simply enjoy lacing the puck in the back of the net. There’s something about putting points up on the board that makes both fans and teammates feel as though that player is doing their job out there. But while scoring the scoring column grabs the most attention, setting the table for those around them is just as important, if not more so.

For Jaden Schwartz, he was a master of doing just that and during Game 7 of the 2019 NHL Stanley Cup Finals, Schwartz fed his St. Louis Blues teammates all night long.

With his squad already holding onto a one goal lead in the opening quarter, Schwartz iced down the lane and found an open Alex Pietrangelo who pushed the lead to 2-0. Neither team could find the net in the following period but Schwartz picked up exactly where he left off in the next frame. He skated past defenders, knifed through the lane and dumped the puck off to a wide-open Brayden Schenn who took care of the rest, scoring with relative ease.

The Blues would ultimately win by the score of 4-1 but not before Schwartz orchestrated things all night.
