Devils Need to Make Decision on Cammalleri
The Devils are coming face-to-face with a hard decision: is it worth trading forward Mike Cammalleri? Cammalleri has had a season filled with injury and misfortune and is basically having the worst season of his career. With two years (and about $10 million dollars) left in his contract, Cammalleri doesn’t have much time left with the team but the team can either sit it out with him on the roster or risk trading him at his lowest value. The Avs Need to Finish the Season Strong
The Colorado Avalanche have had a really, really rough season. While the season is slowly beginning to dwindle away for the team, that doesn’t mean they should continue to dwell at rock bottom. The Avs need to play and finish the season strong now more than ever in an effort to prove their worth to their fans and end their season with pride. [Mile High Sticking]
Toronto Should Target Shattenkirk in the Offseason
The quest for Kevin Shattenkirk continues. Many teams jumped at the chance to sign the coveted Blues d-man Shattenkirk at the trade deadline but he ultimately boarded a flight to Washington. The Leafs should consider taking a shot at Shattenkirk this offseason because, while at the deadline the team would have had to sacrifice too much for a potentially rental-only player, the team might have all the resources they need to lock the defenseman in following the season’s end. The Blues Need Tarasenko Now More Than Ever
The St.Louis Blues need to hold down their playoff spot and the pressure of the end of the season won’t make it easy for them. Every team is chasing the playoffs and with the standings growing closer and closer it is getting a lot harder to feel confident in your position. The Blues need Vladimir Tarasenko to step up and carry them through the rest of the season- and post-season. Tarasenko has been the team’s backbone since he was a rookie and he is a big reason they are where they are now. Now, the Blues need him to step up and stay up. [Bleedin’ Blue]
